Yes for SPRs with hdb, they need to sell away their hdb within 6 months after buying condo. Yes based on current policies, thereafter you can also sell your condo and buy resale hdb again, subject to all hdb criteria met for PRs.

HDB have to dispose within 6 months after purchase a private condo. If you like to re-purchase a hdb in the future, then have to sell of the condo. This is the current policy.

Hi Ms Wong, due to your PR status, I'm afraid that you can't hold on to your hdb while you purchase another condo unit. And due to the weak market sentiment, it would be better to sell off your current hdb first before you purchase a condo unit. Pls feel free to let me know if you need any assistance.

Under HDB regulations, PRs have to dispose of their HDB within 6 months of purchasing a Private Property.

As such, you have 2 options now:
1) Purchase a Private Property and sell off HDB within 6 months
2) Sell your HDB first and then purchase a Private Property

My advice is you sell off your HDB first, before committing to purchase a condo.
